SCULPT ESCAPES

Retreat Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking. They apply to every Sculpt Escapes retreat booked with Sculpt Rose Bay, a business name of Bianca Bradey Pty Ltd (ACN 697 288 243) (“Sculpt”, “we”, “us”).

Details that are specific to each retreat, including dates, check-in times, payment due dates, cancellation dates and offers, are set out under Retreat Details at the end of these terms and in your booking confirmation.

1. Your booking

Your place is confirmed once we have received your booking information, your acceptance of these terms and the required payment, and issued your booking confirmation.

Please check your confirmation and let us know promptly if any details are incorrect.

2. Prices & payments

All prices are in Australian dollars. Shared accommodation prices are per person, for two guests sharing, unless expressly stated otherwise.

A deposit per person secures your place and forms part of the total retreat price. The deposit amount and the date your balance is due are set out in the Retreat Details. Bookings made after the balance due date require full payment.

Any applicable booking or payment fees will be disclosed before payment.

If a payment is overdue, we will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity to pay before cancelling your booking. Any amount retained will be subject to the cancellation provisions below.

3. Offers

Any early bird or promotional offer, including its code and end date, is set out in the Retreat Details. Offers are subject to room availability and cannot be combined with another offer unless we expressly agree.

4. Accommodation & solo travellers

Your booking includes the room category shown in your confirmation.

Solo travellers are welcome to book one place in a shared room, and we will pair you with another retreat guest. Please tell us about any room-sharing preferences when booking. We will do our best to accommodate them but cannot guarantee every request.

If we cannot arrange a suitable roommate, we will contact you to discuss the available options. We will not charge a private-room supplement without your agreement.

Exclusive room occupancy must be requested and confirmed separately at the applicable private rate. Booking one shared place does not reserve the whole room.

5. Arrival & departure

Check-in and check-out times are set out in the Retreat Details. Please arrange your travel around these times. Early arrival, late departure and additional nights are subject to the venue’s availability and separate agreement.

6. Inclusions & additional expenses

Your retreat includes the accommodation, meals, classes and experiences expressly listed in your booking package.

Flights, transfers and travel insurance are not included. Personal purchases and any optional treatments or additional services are at your expense unless expressly included.

Where an optional service is booked directly with an independent provider, their disclosed booking and cancellation terms apply to that service.

7. Cancellations by you

To cancel your booking, please email hello@sculptrosebay.com.au. Cancellation dates are determined by when we receive your email, using Sydney local time.

Unless the Retreat Details for your retreat say otherwise: for cancellations received on or before the cancellation date in the Retreat Details, the deposit is ordinarily non-refundable, and 50% of payments made above the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations received after that date, no refund is ordinarily offered.

In all cases, cancellation charges, including any retained deposit, will not exceed our reasonable loss and unrecoverable costs arising from your cancellation. We will take account of costs saved and any recovery from reselling your place, and refund any excess retained.

These provisions also apply to cancellations arising from illness, injury, personal emergencies or disrupted travel, subject to your rights under applicable law.

8. Transfers, late arrival & early departure

Bookings cannot be transferred to another guest or a future retreat without our written agreement. Please contact us as early as possible if you would like us to consider a replacement guest.

No refund is ordinarily offered for late arrival, early departure or sessions, meals or facilities you choose not to use. This is subject to the cancellation cost limits above and any rights you have under applicable law.

9. Changes or cancellation by Sculpt

We may make reasonable changes to session times, instructors or activities where necessary because of weather, safety, illness or provider availability. Where practical, we will provide a comparable alternative.

We will notify you promptly of any significant change affecting your booking and discuss the available options, including any refund or other remedy required by law.

If Sculpt cancels the retreat, you may choose a full refund of retreat payments made to us or an available alternative retreat. You are not required to accept a credit or alternative retreat.

Please wait until we confirm the retreat will proceed before booking non-refundable travel. Any claim relating to separately booked travel or other losses will be assessed under applicable law.

10. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, illness, injury, medical expenses, emergencies and travel disruption, together with your planned retreat activities.

Please check the policy wording and exclusions carefully. Insurance does not replace or limit your rights against Sculpt under applicable law.

11. Health & participation

Please tell us before arrival about any injury, medical condition, recent surgery, pregnancy or other circumstance relevant to your safe participation. Seek advice from your treating health professional where appropriate.

Our Pilates classes are group fitness sessions and are not rehabilitation, medical treatment or individual clinical care.

All activities are optional. Please work within your own abilities, follow safety instructions and stop an activity if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. Let your instructor know promptly if you need assistance.

We may recommend modifications or ask you to sit out a particular activity where reasonably necessary for safety.

12. Wellness facilities & activity risks

Exercise, swimming, sauna use, cold immersion and other retreat activities involve risks, including injury, falls, heat-related illness and adverse reactions to cold.

Please consider whether each activity is appropriate for you, follow venue instructions and seek medical advice where needed. Do not use facilities while affected by alcohol or other substances that could impair your judgement or safety.

Acknowledging these risks does not waive any rights you have under applicable law or excuse a failure by Sculpt to meet its legal obligations.

13. Dietary requirements & allergies

Please provide your dietary requirements and allergies when booking and notify us promptly of any changes.

We will discuss these with the catering team and confirm what can reasonably be accommodated. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or the absence of cross-contact. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before booking to discuss suitability and bring any prescribed medication.

14. Respect for the group & property

Please treat fellow guests, instructors, venue staff and the property with care and respect.

If behaviour creates a serious safety risk or materially disrupts others, we may restrict participation or require a guest to leave. Where practical, we will first explain the concern and provide an opportunity to address it.

Any refund and any claim for damage will be assessed fairly, taking account of the circumstances, reasonable losses and applicable law.

15. Personal belongings & liability

Please take reasonable care of your belongings throughout your stay and while travelling.

Sculpt’s responsibility for injury, loss, damage or failure to provide services will be determined under applicable law. Nothing in these terms creates a blanket exclusion of liability for negligence or removes a remedy to which you are legally entitled.

16. Photography & privacy

We may invite guests to participate in retreat photography or filming. Promotional use of identifiable images of you will be subject to your consent. You may decline without affecting your participation.

Please respect other guests’ privacy and obtain their permission before photographing, filming or sharing identifiable images of them.

Information provided for your booking will be used to administer and deliver the retreat. Relevant information may need to be shared with the venue, catering team or instructors to accommodate your requests and support safe participation. Sensitive health information will be handled with your consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

17. Questions & concerns

If you have a concern before or during the retreat, please let us know as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to help. Email hello@sculptrosebay.com.au.

18. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to your booking.

Booking acknowledgement

I have read and agree to the Sculpt Rose Bay Retreat Terms & Conditions, including the payment and cancellation provisions and the Retreat Details for my retreat. I understand that participation in retreat activities is optional and that my statutory rights remain unaffected.
